Surely you brushed up on New Jersey’s top high school football players at each position and the state’s top storylines heading into the 2022 season, courtesy of our high school staff. Now, let’s talk recruiting — a different subject altogether — and learn which local stars have the ears of college football’s biggest names and the flashy programs they lead.

As we enter week one, we are counting down New Jersey’s top 50 high school football recruits regardless of grade. We revealed 20 on Tuesday, 10 on Wednesday and 10 more on Thursday, culminating with today’s Top 10 and crowning of N.J.’s No. 1 high school football recruit. We will also drop the “Next 25″ list of recruits who just missed the cut, along with trends and analytics coaxed from the list.
